Off-Grid 5.7kW Solar Power System for Hotel

We installed an off-grid 5.7kW solar power system at a remote hotel in northern Scotland, expanding the solar array from 7 to 16 high-efficiency panels and adding a second 6kW SMA Solar Inverter alongside BYD lithium batteries (20kWh) for extended energy storage. The system, equipped with MPPT charge controllers, generates up to 22 kWh per day, providing up to 48 hours of autonomy and reducing diesel generator usage by approximately 65% annually, cutting fuel costs and lowering CO₂ emissions by 2,000 kg per year.
